Résumé :
Duplex ultrasound is the central, indispensable and mandatory element at all stages of the endovenous thermal ablation.
It is therefore necessary for the operator to have good skills in Duplex venous examinations and knowledge of venous anatomy and pathology.
Meeting these requirements, the practitioner can then optimise the treatment and perform a thermal ablation safely, according to the data of the High Authority of Health. (Evaluation of Professional Acts Service / April 2008 - 131) [13, 14].
